I have been dabbling in art since I was a kid. Although I have taken a handful of classes here and there, and sold art in Denver & Aspen for 6 years, I am basically a self-taught artist. These small works are on package wrap paper. This began as an experiment last summer, when I ran out of the BFK Rives paper I usually use. I found the oil pastels much easier to work with. I love the immediacy of this medium, although it is still layered like my cold wax paintings. The work is about shape, color, texture, movement and feeling. Enjoy and don’t try to make sense out of it!
