This show is the result of a 31-Day art challenge, sometimes called Art-A-Day. We started the new year with a burst of creativity every day in January. This year, we chose the theme of “Metamorphosis”.
This is the fifth year we have particpated in this project, and the continued art practice has created continuity and hope in the midst of the ongoing pandemic disruptions of usual routines. Over 50 people have joined the project over the years. Some of us are practicing artists, and some find creativity in other ways. Everyone can do something creative every day! We are grateful to Kim Aronson for creating this website as part of his wonderful creative practice, and updating it for our second year. Be sure to click on 2021 to see last year’s art. We are also grateful to be able to have an in-person show and opening at the Commons Cohousing this year again. Sharing our art is claiming the value of art and community as part of the practice of being human. We hope you are inspired to embrace your own creative impulses. Join us next year and create your own 31 Days! Carol Schrader and Jasmine Quinsier 2022 |
